Feedback – Safia has taught my son French for his GCSE exams. After starting lessons with Safia, he started enjoying the language more and also learnt to plan and organise his work better. The lessons were well structured and paced with a view to exams as he started about 10 months prior to his GCSE exams. Safia gave my son detailed feedback on his work. She also gave me regular feedback after each lesson covering what he did well as well areas to concentrate on. We came to Safia in January after our daughter, who was an A/B student, achieved D/E in her first round of mock exams. I usually struggle with confidence when trying to learn new languages, often changing when I find them too difficult. Learning French with Safia showed that it is a fun and beautiful thing! Safia has tutored my daughter Lauryn since year 10, when we first found out that it was compulsory to take GCSE French. Lauryn struggled a little in English and was very anxious about taking a foreign Language as a GCSE, plus she had never particularly liked French. I suggested a tutor and since Lauryn has been meeting with Safia on a regular basis, we have never looked back. Lauryn has achieved two As and a B in her final GCSE assessments and her estimated grade has gone from an E to a B which I am sure she will achieve in June 2017.
